Scrypta: the first all-Italian blockchain and its Lyra cryptocurrency
Scrypta is an open source peer-to-peer infrastructure and its blockchain is based on the Proof of Stake (Pos) protocol. Lyra cryptocurrency staking therefore contributes to block validation and blockchain security.
Scrypta, all-Italian innovation. Scrypta’s vision is based on a decentralized digital infrastructure with the aim of simplifying and making data management, archiving and certification processes more efficient.

Unlike Ethereum mining which relies on computing power to validate transactions, Scrypta uses a Proof of Stake (PoS) consensus protocol. Possession of the cryptocurrency on one’s wallet contributes to securing the network.
As this is an open-source project, at an advanced stage, both developers and organizations can independently design and test new applications by exploiting the Scrypta blockchain.
The platform created by the founders of Scrypta is heterogeneous and complete in all its parts.
